Jen-Mar Business Machines Ltd. is a private limited liability company, which was started in the year nineteen hundred and eighty three by Mr. Martin Xavier and his wife Jennifer. The Company's issued capital, although substantially increased from its inception, remains in the hands of the individuals. The Company originally started its business Marketing and Servicing the Kingtron Line of Cash Registers from Japan. Over the years, other lines were added to meet the varied requirements of its growing customer base. To date, Jen-Mar Business Machines Ltd. is the authorized representative for several brand name products as follows:

As the company grew, the need arose to employ experienced personnel to service this customer base effectively. Mr. Christopher Abraham (Import/ Export Manager) and Mr. Hayward Mohammed (Manager - San Fernando Branch) were hired to achieve this objective. Up until 1994, under the able direction of Mr. Martin Xavier, these men made up the core of Jen-Mar's Management Team.

 

January of 1995 was a very significant date in the history of our company. Again to meet the growing needs of our customers we launched the Computer/Point of Sale Division, and have since then seen a steady growth into a highly professional department.

Presently, we assemble our own brand of IBM Compatible Computers under the Jenisys trademark. Since Jen-Mar is presently doing business with the second largest distributor of computer products in Latin America and the Caribbean.

We operate a full service department,that can perform up-grades, repairs and provide a variety of networking solutions.

Our services also extend into the software arena, having staff that are fully trained in several Software Packages, including, Daceasy Accounting, Quicksell General Retail, Aloha Fine Dining, Express Lane Supermarket Software to name a few.

It is the policy of this company to always provide technical support for any products or software we carry. As we continue to expand our product base, we compliment this by expanding our support base as well. Our objective is to always provide to our customers an efficient back up service with minimum down time.

It is our intension to ensure that our staff is adequately trained and that we always remain on the cutting edge of technology. Our Computer Division, to date, has employed three (4) Software Engineers, Four. (4) Field Engineers and an Office Coordinator/dispatcher to service our expanding customer base. No doubt, as one of our valued clients, you can rest assured that as you grow, we will do our part to grow with you.
